When Barbie needs a pair of heels to celebrate its 50 years, serving as Christian Louboutin. He had no idea the impact that would result would follow that the designer on inspiration for their collections, and became muse.

And so the seeds of a year long wait were seeded, starting with a reworking of the classic peep-toe shoes color Barbie-pink-licious hot - with the red sole glossy autographed , which debuted at Fashion Week in New York. For some it may seem like a love story, but for those close to the duo, Louboutin has played the role of godfather seamlessly.

A photographic journey fully documented that the designer sees the doll and enjoy time together in Louboutin's favorite places, including: the gardens of the Louvre, his studio and house, his boat on Nile, in the form of a diary-style agenda entitled "A year in Paris."

Christian Louboutin has custom 3 dolls, inspired by Nefertiti and Marilyn Monroe, with a new clay-brown skin tone. The limited edition "Christian Louboutin-Barbie" does not end here; 4 pairs of shoes for the feet are included for every Barbie doll, each guarded boxes in the famous Louboutin shoes, in delicate tissue paper. A delightful miniature, like the leopard skin boots made by hand.
